About the Role

We're building out our presence in the DACH market and are looking for an entrepreneurial, purpose driven Sales Director to lead this market with us.

In this role, you take full ownership of our commercial success in DACH. You coach and develop our Account Executives, shape our go to market strategy, and act as our trusted advisor on the German market for the wider organisation. This is not a "manage and report" role; it's an opportunity to build a market from the ground up and lead from the front, including closing deals yourself.

You'll work closely with our Business Development, Customer Success, and Marketing teams as part of a collaborative, international commercial team.

  • Own the go to market strategy for the DACH region
  • Coach, develop, and grow a team of Account Executives (currently scaling from 2 to 6)
  • Build and expand the market, including new B2B partnerships
  • Act as the internal advisor and voice of the German market for our (Dutch) headquarters
  • Take full ownership of the DACH sales function
  • Close deals yourself, staying hands on and close to the market

 

You genuinely enjoy working with people; you're energised by conversations, coaching your team, and building relationships at different levels.

You bring a combination of drive, curiosity, and resilience. You take ownership, learn from setbacks, and continuously look for ways to improve. You're comfortable operating in a fast paced, still to be built environment and enjoy being part of a team that builds together.

Mental well being resonates with you as something that matters and something you want to contribute to.

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in B2B SaaS or tech sales, ideally within HR SaaS
  • A genuine hunter mentality and a strong instinct for go to market
  • Experience building or scaling a market or sales team from the ground up
  • Enthusiasm for staying personally involved in closing deals, not just leading from behind
  • Strong knowledge of the German market
  • Ambition paired with a warm, human way of leading people
