Sales Representative Location: East London, Eastern Cape About the Opportunity We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established distributor in the dairy and FMCG industry based in East London. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, customer-focused sales professional who enjoys building lasting client relationships and delivering consistent results in a fast-paced environment. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of clients while identifying opportunities to grow sales within your designated territory. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Develop and implement territory sales plans aligned with business objectives. Conduct regular customer visits, product reviews, and sales meetings. Analyse sales performance to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Prepare accurate and timely sales reports for management. Collaborate with internal marketing and logistics teams to ensure exceptional customer service. Resolve customer queries and escalations professionally and efficiently. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-driven sales professional with excellent relationship-building skills, commercial awareness, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service within the FMCG industry. Requirements Minimum Requirements Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in an FMCG sales environment. Proven ability to build, manage, and maintain long-term customer relationships. Experience analysing sales data and producing accurate sales reports. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Valid driver's licence, own reliable roadworthy vehicle, and willingness to travel within the assigned territory. Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
