This is an established fintech lender delivering flexible revenue-based financing to small businesses nationwide. The company moves fast, cuts through bureaucracy, and provides capital that actually helps entrepreneurs grow—without rigid credit boxes or endless paperwork. With a proven model, strong revenue foundation, and fresh capital in place, the business is poised to accelerate.
The foundation is solid. Now comes the push to scale: build a direct sales engine, deepen domestic growth, and expand deliberately into international markets where demand is high and competition remains limited.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Revenue Officer becomes the senior commercial leader who owns the full revenue engine. This is a builder’s role. The CEO has driven commercial efforts hands-on; the right CRO steps in as a true peer to design strategy, create the team, deliver results, and position the company for its next chapter of growth.
This is not about managing from the top. It is about architecting the revenue function while rolling up sleeves alongside the team—sourcing deals, building relationships, and executing at every level with strategic vision, relentless drive, and disciplined follow-through. Success here means creating real impact through both leadership and personal contribution.

Design and scale a high-performing direct sales organization starting from zero. Define structure, hiring profiles, compensation, and standards. Lead from the front initially—sourcing and closing deals personally—then transition to coaching and leading a growing team. Build processes and tools that create consistency and predictability while keeping the entrepreneurial edge. Full ownership of direct sales outcomes, with real accountability and significant upside.
Identify and secure high-value partners such as accounting firms, referral networks, and channel distributors. Leverage and expand existing industry relationships to accelerate early wins, then build a repeatable playbook for broader execution. Aim to close four to six meaningful partnerships in the first year.

Adapt the approach, build local relationships, and partner closely with compliance and product teams to launch successfully.
Attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent across sales and business development. Create a culture grounded in ownership, curiosity, and high standards—one where people take initiative, learn quickly, and deliver results together. Put in place the metrics, systems, and visibility that let everyone see progress clearly.
A proven commercial leader who thrives building rather than maintaining. Someone who combines clear strategic thinking with the willingness to roll up sleeves and execute at every level.

Strong background in fintech, alternative lending, or financial services preferred; deep execution experience in consulting or private equity also valued.
Track record of creating sales and BD teams from the ground up and closing complex partnership deals.
Robust existing network and relationships across financial services, lending, and related industries that can be brought to the table and activated immediately.
International market experience, especially in Canada, UK, Australia, or New Zealand, stands out.
Exceptional communicator who builds trust fast and operates effectively in a founder-led, high-ownership environment with a clear bias for action.
