Sales Manager (Istanbul)

We are looking for an experienced Istanbul Sales Manager to join our growing commercial organization. In this role, you will lead and develop the Istanbul sales team, drive commercial growth across Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and Project Cargo products, and play a key role in achieving the branch’s revenue and profitability targets. You will be responsible for managing strategic customer relationships, supporting major business opportunities, and ensuring the effective execution of the company’s commercial strategy.
Responsibilities

- →Drive revenue growth and profitability through proactive customer engagement and business development activities.
- →Conduct regular joint customer visits with the sales team to support coaching, opportunity development, and customer retention.
- →Manage and strengthen relationships with strategic Key Accounts and high-value customers.
- →Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and Project Cargo services.
- →Lead major commercial opportunities, tenders, and negotiations in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- →Ensure effective pipeline management, opportunity progression, and forecast accuracy.
- →Monitor sales performance metrics and implement actions to improve productivity and profitability.
- →Ensure full CRM compliance, including accurate reporting of customer visits, opportunities, and sales activities.
- →Collaborate closely with Operations, Pricing, Finance, Customer Service, and other internal teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- →Represent DP World professionally in customer meetings, commercial discussions, and strategic negotiations.
- →Support the execution of the company’s commercial strategy while protecting and expanding existing revenue streams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Freight Forwarding sales, business development, or commercial management.
- Previous team management and leadership experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and Project Cargo services.
- Proven track record in delivering revenue and gross profit targets.
- Experience in customer relationship management, contract negotiation, and commercial development.
- Strong understanding of international logistics and multimodal transportation solutions.
- Experience working within multi-stakeholder environments and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage pipelines, forecasts, and profitability.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to dynamic business environments.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to lead teams and drive sustainable business growth.
