We are seeking a detail-oriented Compensation Analyst to support the design, administration, and continuous improvement of compensation programs within a dynamic, remote-first organization. In this six-month temporary role, you will contribute to salary benchmarking, job evaluations, pay structure development, and incentive program administration. You will analyze compensation data to promote internal equity, maintain market competitiveness, and ensure alignment with applicable regulations and business objectives. Working closely with Human Resources, Payroll, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will provide actionable insights that inform compensation decisions and workforce planning. You will also help streamline processes, strengthen data integrity, and improve the accuracy of compensation reporting. This opportunity is ideal for an analytical professional who enjoys solving complex problems and contributing to strategic Total Rewards initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Compensation Analysis and Benchmarking: Conduct job evaluations, market pricing, salary benchmarking, and compensation data analysis to assess internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with applicable pay regulations.
  • Job Evaluation and Classification: Review job responsibilities and organizational requirements to determine appropriate job grades, classifications, and market values for new positions and existing role changes, including salary increases, title adjustments, and structural changes.
  • Compensation Advisory: Provide analytical support and recommendations to management regarding salary structures, incentive programs, pay adjustments, new-hire offers, and wage-and-hour considerations.
  • Compensation Program Administration: Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of compensation policies, salary administration processes, merit increase programs, variable pay plans, bonuses, and equity-related initiatives.
  • Annual Compensation Cycles: Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and other stakeholders to coordinate annual merit reviews and related compensation projects, ensuring accurate data, timely execution, and achievement of project objectives.
  • Market Data Management: Prepare salary survey submissions, conduct job matching, maintain compensation market-pricing systems, and validate internal and external data to support reliable compensation decisions.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis: Develop, analyze, and maintain complex Excel and Google Sheets reports to identify compensation trends, assess pay practices, and provide insights that support business initiatives.
  • Data Integrity and Auditing: Maintain accurate employee and job information across HR systems, perform regular audits, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to ensure data consistency.
  • Job Description Management: Maintain and update the job description library and related HR system records, ensuring consistency and accuracy when roles are created or modified.
  • Stakeholder Support: Serve as a key point of contact for day-to-day compensation questions, monitor and respond to inquiries through a dedicated functional inbox, and provide clear guidance to relevant stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve compensation workflows, enhance operational efficiency, strengthen data quality, and support the continuous improvement of policies and procedures.
  • Special Projects: Coordinate and contribute to HR initiatives, compensation-related assignments, and other projects as business needs evolve.
  • Annualized Compensation Range: $100,000–$130,000 for U.S.-based candidates, depending on location, experience, skills, and qualifications. Compensation for this six-month temporary position should be confirmed during the recruitment process.
  • Equity Compensation: The broader Total Rewards offering may include equity awards; eligibility for this temporary position should be confirmed with the recruiter.
  • Healthcare Coverage: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, subject to applicable eligibility requirements.
  • Paid Time Off: Unlimited paid time off, company holidays, and quarterly mental health days, subject to applicable policies and eligibility.
  • Parental Leave: Parental leave benefits, subject to the applicable employment terms.
  • Retirement Savings: 401(k) plan with employer matching contributions, subject to eligibility.
  • Employee Stock Purchase Program: Access to an Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP), subject to eligibility.
