Senior Director, Solutions Engineering

• →Serve as the technical lead on priority hyperscale and enterprise opportunities, translating customer business and IT infrastructure requirements into data center solutions
• →Lead solution requirement sessions with clients and vendors, delivering technical proposals, architectural overviews, and facility tours
• →Support Sales in positioning solutions and reviewing technical exhibits and lease terms, ensuring commitments align with what our sites can deliver
• →Conduct detailed assessments of power, cooling, network, and space requirements for customer deployments
• →Develop and review cost estimates, bills of materials, and scopes of work for large-scale infrastructure deployments
• →Establish standard templates, processes, and design review practices for the team
• →Own technical content for RFP/RFI responses and support QBRs and periodic business reviews
• →Represent Riot at customer sites, OEM facilities, trade conferences, and industry events

• 8+ years of technical experience in data center, cloud, or mission-critical infrastructure, AI and Hyperscale experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent technical experience (e.g., Navy Nuclear or other military technical programs)
• Proven track record winning complex technical deals as a hands-on solutions engineer, sales engineer, or design lead
• Deep knowledge of data center systems, including power, cooling (including liquid cooling for high-density AI/HPC), cabling, network architecture, and compliance (e.g., Uptime Tier, ASHRAE standards)
• Ability to build and defend cost models, bills of materials, and scopes of work
• Strong communication skills with technical teams and executive stakeholders, including customer C-level leaders

Compensation and Benefits 

• Competitive Salary: $180,000 - $210,000 (commensurate with experience) + bonus + sign-on equity grant.
