We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to help expand business opportunities and generate qualified leads within a growing learning technology environment. In this role, you will drive pipeline growth through a combination of inbound lead follow-up, outbound prospecting, strategic outreach campaigns, and consultative conversations. You will identify potential customers, engage key decision-makers across HR and IT departments, and uncover business needs that align with innovative video-based learning solutions. Working closely with Account Executives, Sales Engineers, and Marketing teams, you will play a critical role in turning initial interest into meaningful sales opportunities. You will also leverage CRM systems, sales engagement platforms, and lead intelligence tools to improve prospecting efficiency and performance. This remote opportunity is ideal for an ambitious sales professional who enjoys building relationships, exceeding targets, and developing a strong foundation for long-term career growth.

  • Lead generation and pipeline development: Generate qualified sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calling, targeted emails, LinkedIn outreach, and other prospecting initiatives.
  • Prospecting and account research: Research target organizations, identify relevant accounts, and map key decision-makers, particularly C-level executives, vice presidents, and directors within HR and IT departments.
  • Discovery and lead qualification: Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect needs, assess business challenges, evaluate potential fit, and qualify opportunities against established sales criteria.
  • Outbound campaign development: Propose and execute creative prospecting strategies, messaging campaigns, and targeted outreach initiatives to increase engagement and generate qualified pipeline.
  • Sales team collaboration: Work closely with Account Executives, Sales Engineers, and Marketing teams to coordinate prospecting efforts, share insights, and ensure qualified opportunities are transferred effectively for further development and closure.
  • Product knowledge and solution positioning: Develop a strong understanding of the platform's features, capabilities, and business value to communicate relevant solutions and qualify prospects based on their needs.
  • Customer engagement and relationship building: Establish productive relationships with prospective customers, maintain consistent follow-up, and deliver a professional, customer-focused experience throughout the initial sales journey.
  • Sales tools and CRM management: Use Salesforce or comparable CRM systems, Outreach, and lead enrichment platforms such as Lusha or ZoomInfo to organize prospect data, track interactions, manage activities, and maintain pipeline visibility.
  • Performance management: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly activity goals, qualified lead targets, and pipeline generation objectives while maintaining a focus on meaningful business outcomes.
  • Events and networking: Represent the organization at relevant in-person trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to engage prospects, expand professional networks, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Continuous improvement: Analyze prospecting performance, refine outreach messaging, share feedback with colleagues, and contribute new ideas to improve sales development processes and campaign effectiveness.
  • Professional development: Build expertise in sales methodologies, product positioning, discovery techniques, and account engagement while developing the skills needed for future sales leadership opportunities.
