StepStone Group is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Business Development Analyst/Senior Analyst to join its UK Institutional Business Development team in London. The team acts as the primary relationship owner for institutional clients across multiple private markets asset classes, and this new role will help support the growing volume of client servicing and coordination activity.

The successful candidate will manage inbound client requests, coordinate responses across investment and product teams, and help deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience. This is an opportunity to gain broad exposure to institutional relationships and private markets, with scope to take on greater client and business development responsibility over time.

  • Receive, coordinate and track inbound client requests, ensuring they reach the appropriate investment, product and internal teams.
  • Act as a central project coordinator for client-related requests, managing multiple stakeholders, deadlines and deliverables through to completion.
  • Follow up with internal teams to obtain timely responses and review materials before they are returned to clients.
  • Support existing institutional client relationships, including meeting follow-ups, relationship maintenance activities and coordination of requested materials.
  • Prepare and coordinate materials for client meetings, quarterly reviews, presentations and other relationship-management activities.
  • Support RFP responses and written client materials, working with relevant subject-matter experts across the business.
  • Assist with SPAR data checking and other client reporting or information requests, with a strong focus on accuracy and consistency.
  • Conduct market mapping and research to support the team’s broader business development initiatives.
  • Build familiarity with key client accounts and help create a consistent servicing experience across asset classes.
  • Partner with investment teams, product specialists and other internal stakeholders to coordinate high-quality client deliverables.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects and identify opportunities to improve client-servicing and coordination processes.
