We are seeking a technically skilled and customer-focused Solutions Engineer to help organizations strengthen application security in an increasingly AI-driven software development landscape. In this role, you will partner closely with Account Executives to support strategic sales opportunities, deliver tailored product demonstrations, and communicate the value of modern application security solutions. You will help customers understand their security risks and explore how to protect applications throughout the software development lifecycle without compromising innovation or speed. Working at the intersection of cybersecurity, software development, and artificial intelligence, you will translate complex technical concepts into practical business value for both technical and executive stakeholders. You will also contribute to proof-of-value engagements that demonstrate how security solutions address real-world customer challenges. Partner with Account Executives to support strategic sales opportunities, contribute to deal progression, and deliver compelling technical narratives that demonstrate the value of application security solutions.
Lead tailored product demonstrations for technical teams, security professionals, developers, and executive stakeholders, adapting presentations to their needs and priorities.
Design and execute proof-of-value engagements that showcase product capabilities, address customer requirements, and demonstrate measurable business and security benefits.
Help customers assess their application security posture and understand emerging risks associated with modern software development, including AI-generated code.
Explain core application security concepts and technologies, including Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Software Composition Analysis (SCA), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), secrets detection, API security, and AI/large language model (LLM) code risks.
Translate complex cybersecurity concepts into clear, accessible messaging that connects technical capabilities with business objectives and customer challenges.
Build strong relationships with prospective customers, understand their technical environments, and recommend relevant solutions aligned with their security and development needs.
Stay informed about application security trends, software development practices, DevSecOps methodologies, and emerging AI coding tools to support effective customer conversations.
Collaborate with sales and technical teams to refine demonstrations, strengthen technical positioning, and improve the overall customer engagement process.

Requirements

Experience in technical presales or solution engineering, ideally within SaaS cybersecurity, application security, or developer tools. Candidates with 1–2 or more years of relevant experience are preferred.
Understanding of core application security domains, including SAST, SCA, DAST, secrets detection, API security, and the security risks associated with AI-generated code.
Fluency in both English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging customers and internal stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to deliver tailored product demonstrations and proof-of-value engagements to technical audiences and executive decision-makers.
Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical topics and communicate their business impact to non-specialist audiences.
Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevSecOps practices, and shift-left security principles is an advantage.
Knowledge of AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude, Gemini, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor, including an understanding of their potential security implications, is a plus.
Hands-on scripting or programming experience across multiple languages is desirable.
Portuguese fluency is an additional advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a genuine interest in cybersecurity, software development, and the evolving role of artificial intelligence in application security.
