As a Sales & Relationship Manager, you will drive commercial growth for a leading digital media platform dedicated to the global coffee industry. You will manage a diverse portfolio of advertising and promotional solutions, including website and newsletter placements, editorial features, giveaways, and tailored commercial packages. Working closely with coffee businesses worldwide, you will build lasting client relationships, identify new revenue opportunities, and develop strategic partnerships across the coffee supply chain. You will oversee the sales pipeline from prospecting and negotiations to campaign delivery, ensuring an excellent client experience at every stage. In collaboration with the sales leadership and internal teams, you will help shape sales strategies and expand the reach of multiple industry publications. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for a proactive commercial professional who enjoys international networking, digital media, and turning business relationships into sustainable growth.

Independently manage sales activities in line with the established commercial strategy, taking ownership of revenue targets and overall sales performance.

Sell a range of advertising and promotional solutions, including long-term commercial plans, website banners, newsletter placements, editorial features, giveaways, sponsorships, and other publication-related services.

Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities to expand the client portfolio, generate revenue, and establish long-term commercial partnerships.

Manage the full sales pipeline, from lead generation and prospect qualification to proposal development, negotiations, deal closure, and account management.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, advertisers, and sponsors, ensuring ongoing engagement and identifying opportunities for account growth.

Develop connections with key stakeholders across the global coffee supply chain, including equipment manufacturers, roasters, producers, exporters, importers, and green coffee traders.

Oversee client advertising campaigns and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution, timely delivery, and alignment with agreed objectives.

Collaborate with the Head of Sales to develop, refine, and implement commercial strategies that support revenue growth across multiple publications and media offerings.

Contribute to the growth of the broader publication portfolio by identifying opportunities to promote industry insights, emerging trends, and relevant content to commercial partners.

Participate in regular team meetings to share pipeline updates, discuss sales opportunities, and coordinate priorities.

Provide regular updates to senior leadership on revenue performance, sales progress, client development, and opportunities to improve commercial results.

Requirements

At least 2 years of professional experience in a client-facing sales, business development, account management, or other commercial role.

Fluent English proficiency at a native or bilingual level, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A proven track record of developing and executing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and achieving commercial targets.

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders from different professional, cultural, and geographic backgrounds.

A proactive, results-oriented mindset and the ability to identify opportunities, initiate conversations, negotiate effectively, and convert leads into long-term business relationships.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, sales opportunities, advertising campaigns, and deadlines independently.

Proficiency with Google Workspace (G Suite) and common digital collaboration tools.

Experience with HubSpot or similar customer relationship management (CRM) systems is an advantage.

Familiarity with the specialty coffee industry and an understanding of its key players, commercial dynamics, and supply chain are highly desirable.

Experience working with international clients or within remote, geographically distributed teams is a plus.

Adaptability, accountability, and a collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with colleagues and leadership.

An interest in digital publishing, advertising, content marketing, and the global coffee sector is beneficial.
