Deli Specialist

As the Deli Specialist, you will provide deli department excellence, ensuring product freshness, merchandising accuracy, and compliance with food safety standards. This role embodies passion, excellence, hospitality, and teamwork, delivering an exceptional guest experience while maintaining operational integrity. You will support deli inventory accuracy, ensure rotation standards, and presentation, while supporting guest engagement and department readiness for promotions and seasonal events.

• →Ensure all deli products meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating.        
• →Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• →Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of deli items.    
• →Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.  
• →Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events. 
• →Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.  
• →Follow all TFM policies, food safety requirements, and sanitation procedures. 
• →Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach when on the sales floor. 

This position requires the willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays. 

• Associate’s degree in business, retail management, or related field; or equivalent experience. 
• Experience in grocery, fresh food retail, hospitality or high-volume specialty retail environment 
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and financial reporting. 
• Bilingual skills.a

• 1+ years of progressive management experience in supermarkets, retail, restaurants, hotels, or general business. 
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams. 
• Proven ability to deliver an exceptional guest experience while achieving performance goals. 
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills. 
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. 
• Basic proficiency with POS systems, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. 
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
