In this role, you will identify promising Web3 projects, connect with key decision-makers, and develop strategic relationships with founders, technical leaders, and ecosystem partners. You will manage the entire business development cycle, from prospecting and initial conversations to negotiations and closing deals. Working alongside an international team of business development professionals and security experts, you will contribute to expanding market presence and building long-term partnerships. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for a proactive, commercially driven individual who enjoys networking, exploring emerging technologies, and creating new business opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Identify, research, and approach new business opportunities across the Web3 ecosystem, including decentralized finance (DeFi), blockchain infrastructure, Layer 1 and Layer 2 networks, and cryptocurrency exchanges.

Build relationships with key decision-makers, including blockchain project founders, Chief Technology Officers (CTOs), heads of security, and other senior stakeholders.

Manage the complete business development and sales cycle, from initial outreach and lead qualification to negotiations and successfully securing signed contracts.

Develop and maintain strategic partnerships and referral channels with Web3 projects, venture capital firms, launchpads, blockchain ecosystems, and other relevant industry stakeholders.

Proactively identify potential clients and emerging market opportunities to strengthen business growth and expand the organization's presence across the Web3 industry.

Monitor blockchain market developments, industry trends, competitor activities, and ecosystem innovations to identify new commercial opportunities.

Gather market intelligence and communicate relevant insights, client feedback, and industry developments to internal teams to support business strategy.

Collaborate with business development colleagues and technical experts to understand client requirements and effectively communicate the value of blockchain security solutions.

Requirements

Previous experience in business development, sales, strategic partnerships, consulting, or a similar commercial role.

Strong interest in blockchain technology and the Web3 ecosystem, ideally with existing industry knowledge or the ability to demonstrate a proven track record of learning new technologies and markets quickly.

Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage founders, executives, and technical decision-makers.

Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify business opportunities, develop prospects, negotiate effectively, and drive deals toward successful completion.

Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-moving international environment where initiative and continuous learning are highly valued.

Fluent English, with the ability to communicate effectively with international clients and colleagues.

Based in Europe, the UAE, or North America, with the ability to perform the role remotely from outside the United States.

Nice to have: An established professional network within the Web3 ecosystem, particularly among blockchain founders, venture capital firms, launchpads, and cryptocurrency exchanges.

Nice to have: Technical curiosity or knowledge of smart contracts, DeFi mechanisms, blockchain infrastructure, and cybersecurity.

Nice to have: Previous experience working in a startup environment or in a sales position involving performance-based or commission-driven compensation.
