20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.
A growing Florida-based insurance agency is seeking a part-time Virtual Assistant to conduct lead outreach, follow up with prospective clients, and schedule appointments for the agency.
The business is currently being built from the ground up and offers life insurance, health insurance, annuities, and related financial products. The immediate need is a dedicated VA who can consistently work existing leads through phone calls, email, and text messaging while the owner focuses on building and growing the agency.
This is a lead follow-up and appointment-setting position, not an insurance sales or closing role.
The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.
Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:
- Call client-provided leads using approved scripts
- Follow up consistently with prospects
- Send SMS and email follow-ups as appropriate
- Respond to basic prospect questions using approved information
- Maintain professional and conversational communication
- Continue follow-up according to the client's established cadence
- Identify interested prospects and schedule appointments with the client
- Maintain accurate prospect information and outreach notes
- Track calls, emails, texts, and follow-up requirements
- Maintain lead information within spreadsheets until a CRM is implemented
- Update lead statuses and ensure interested prospects receive timely follow-up
Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.
The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:
- Previous outbound calling, appointment setting, lead generation, or customer service experience required
- Experience communicating with U.S.-based prospects strongly preferred
- Strong spoken and written English required
- Comfortable with phone, SMS, and email outreach
- Spreadsheet and lead-tracking experience required
- Insurance, financial services, mortgage, or similar experience is a plus but not required
- CRM experience is a plus as the agency expects to implement one
- Confident and personable on the phone
- Native or near-native English speaking accent
- Comfortable conducting recurring outbound calls
- Strong appointment-setting and follow-up ability
- Organized and dependable
- Able to follow scripts while maintaining a natural conversation
- Comfortable joining a newer business and growing with the agency
- Motivated by consistent outreach and activity
- Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
- Gmail / Email Platforms
- Google Voice or Similar Dialer – To Be Implemented
- CRM Platforms – Future
- Calendar / Appointment Scheduling Platforms
- Contracted Hours per Week: 20 Hours
- Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday (unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing)
- Daily Working Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM EST
Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.
- Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
- This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
- All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
