Sales Representative (Exempt)

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative who will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with key clients, and promoting our extensive range of food and beverage products. 

Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management:

  • Work directly with key contact persons of the company, customers, and clients to promote products, participate in trade shows, conduct demonstrations, and manage other special projects.
  • Conduct regular weekly meetings with partners to ensure alignment and drive sales initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between the distributor and retail stores, conducting shelf checks and surveys as required.

Sales Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze various sales data, both historical and current, to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare comprehensive sales reports on business transactions and develop compelling presentation materials for sales promotions and meetings.

Market Research and Strategy:

  • Conduct market research through store visits, trade publications, trade shows, and web monitoring to stay informed of industry trends.
  • Utilize sales data analysis to propose and implement effective sales strategies that align with market trends and customer needs.

Sales Promotion and Business Development:

  • Promote new product launches and drive sales growth through strategic initiatives.
  • Require travel within the US (once a month) and internationally (once every 2-3 years).

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Japanese and English is required; fluency in an additional language is a significant plus.
  • Sales experience is preferred.
  • Experience in the food or beverage industry is a big plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
