Abbott’s Inside Sales position provides quality service and products to Abbott customers.
Inside sales sells to and/or provides services to workplace point of care customers. Inside sales representatives work as a collaborative partner with field sales force to drive business. Strong relationships with customers are built by providing service, support and education on the products in alignment with sales and marketing strategies and direction.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Identify new small account opportunities through inbound inquiries, targeted outreach, and digital engagement.
- →Responsible for selling Abbott’s POCT products to workplace customers. Execute transactional sales activities, including preparing quotes, winning sales opportunities, opening new accounts, processing orders, and coordinating delivery.
- →Exhibits expertise in understanding workplace customer drug testing needs and educating customers about the products and services that Abbott offers.
- →Sells products ethically and in accordance with the company’s sales process and agreed marketing strategy.
- →Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Service, Operations) to ensure smooth order processing and issue resolution.
- →Makes compelling and persuasive sales calls to designated customers resulting in sales of products and maintains accurate records of the conversations and answers to probing questions.
- →Maximizes revenue and market share of products in territory and achieves/exceeds sales targets.
- The inside sales representative is accountable for a specific number of sales calls daily (~20-25 calls per day) and email follow up as needed as well as ensuring that the representative positively influences the product decisions of the customers as well as customer satisfaction.
Requirements
~1 min read- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years in sales, customer service or account management, preferably in a transactional or product-focused environment.
- Familiarity with diagnostic or drug testing products preferred.
- Strong business acumen and Sales ability
- Strong communication, presentation, persuasiveness and active listening skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in sales, customer service or account management, preferably in a transactional or product-focused environment.
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be able to work in a team environment and open to coaching and mentoring from others
- Excellent organizational and time management skills required
- Excellent customer relationship building skills.
- Proven track record in Sales preferred
- Strong communication, presentation, persuasiveness and active listening skills.
- Customer-centric mindset with strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in quotes and order processing
- Initiative and strong planning and time management skills.
