As the National Trade Channel Manager, you will contribute to the achievement of sales targets of the ADC brands by establishing programs and partnerships to strengthen brand presence and drive business objectives in the retail and ecommerce channel businesses of ADC.
Responsibilities
~1 min read• Establish overall channel and account strategies to deliver sales business objectives.
• Develop trade marketing strategies to drive sales in the channel and account.
• Analyze market trends for informed decisions on channel partner strategies and research potential partners.
• Negotiate and manage channel partner contracts and agreements.
• Manage ADC distributors end-to-end across both offline and online channels to deliver primary sales and sales-to-trade objectives.
• Ensure timely payment collection and management of account receivables.
• Manage overall Gross-To-Net spend and timely reconciliation of distributor promotional claims.
• Execute trade initiatives on time and within budget.
• Develop new customers to enhance distribution reach.
• Establish and lead regular meetings and conference calls with distributors.
• Equip distributor staff with the necessary sales skills to represent ADC.
• Assist distributors with client training as required.
• Provide leadership to distributors in managing key retail accounts across offline and online channels.
• Conduct regular business reviews and top-to-top engagements with key accounts.
• Work towards securing Category Captaincy by providing category and shopper insights to customers.
• Ensure profitable growth by controlling, monitoring, and evaluating promotional discounts and trade marketing investments for key accounts.
• Partner closely with the Marketing Team to develop trade marketing initiatives for channels and accounts.
• Manage trade budget spend, promotional mechanics development, and investment allocation.
• Proactively propose initiatives based on documented field insights to translate brand strategies into trade execution.
• Define and develop trade marketing strategies and tactics to stimulate brand availability, visibility, and recommendation while addressing customer needs.
• Prepare product forecasts and monitor inventory levels of distributors, including provincial depots.
• Ensure DOH compliance and stock availability within trade accounts.
• Safeguard patient welfare by managing stock freshness in trade and partnering with RAQA to secure required permits and approvals.
• Work with Marketing on promotional material development and oversee promotional activities with key accounts.
• Partner with Medical Sales to ensure proper product distribution and on-shelf availability across territories.
• Coordinate and communicate product, price, and pack changes.
Requirements
~1 min read• At least 5 years of solid experience in distributor management operations and key accounts management within a Pharmaceutical, Medical, or FMCG company.
• Experience in driving online sales and managing e-commerce distributors.
• At least 3 years of experience in consumer/trade marketing involving close collaboration with retailers.
• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong project management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Strong organizational skills, multitasking ability, and project management capability.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills, including ROI calculations, forecasting, and planning.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
• College degree, preferably in Marketing or Business Management.
