Agoda Homes—a core business line within Agoda—supports a wide range of non-hotel accommodation types including serviced apartments, homes, private villas, farm stays, chalets, boats, and more. While these accommodations have always been available on Agoda.com, today’s evolving landscape demands a sharpened focus on expanding supply and elevating quality. Our team builds long-term, cross-cultural partnerships that create exceptional value for Agoda, our partners, and our customers.
We are looking for a bilingual commercial professional with around 4–6 years of experience in business development and account management to help grow Agoda Homes in Japan. This role combines new partner acquisition, outbound prospecting, and management of a portfolio of small-to-mid-sized accommodation partners. It is ideal for someone who enjoys both hunting for new business and growing existing accounts in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
- Prospect and reach out to new property partners through calls, email, and field-based outreach
- Build a pipeline of small and mid-sized accommodation partners in Japan
- Conduct partner meetings, pitch Agoda Homes’ value proposition, and onboard new partners
- Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of existing hosts/property partners
- Use data and market insights to improve pricing, availability, and conversion
- Work cross-functionally with regional teams to solve partner issues and unlock growth

- 4–6 years of experience in B2B client facing role, business development, account management, or partner acquisition
- Fluent Japanese and business-level English
- Experience in outbound prospecting, including cold calling and new business acquisition
- Experience managing a portfolio of SMB or mid-market clients/partners
- Ability to use data and performance metrics to guide commercial conversations
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Experience in OTA, travel tech, marketplace, SaaS, e-commerce, internet, or platform businesses
- Experience working with accommodation, hospitality, real estate, or local merchants
