Air Liquide Oil & Gas Services Ltd (‘ALOS’) is a subsidiary of Air Liquide Group, within Air Liquide Maritime Business Unit, and is composed of a diverse team dedicated to serve customers operating offshore, on a worldwide basis. The entity has been growing fast, through organic growth and acquisitions. The head office is currently in Aberdeen, UK, with several branches worldwide.

We have an exciting opportunity for an internationally experienced Business Development/Key Account Manager to join our team in Aberdeen. This role will build relationships with new and existing clients. The position is responsible for identifying new opportunities and expanding market share while nurturing key accounts to maximize revenue across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions.


The incumbent will ensure that all clients are engaged to boost sales, whilst developing key relationships that ensure the Company’s sustained long term growth in the market.

This role is responsible for:

  • Analyzing and understanding market dynamics, identifying growth sectors and expanding market presence..

  • Leading account planning and retention strategies for major key accounts, aligning solutions with client project pipelines.

  • Build long term relationships with customers, drive service excellence and operational delivery.

  • Developing and executing comprehensive action plans for business development and account expansion.

  • Representing the company at industry events and networking forums to generate new business leads.  

  • Establish and execute a robust strategy to drive profitable new business growth across the EMEA region.

  • Actively network across regional industry platforms to build a strong pipeline of sales opportunities.

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting, visit documentation, and client records.

  • Collaborate on credit collection support and risk mitigation as required.

  • Establish regular executive touchpoints, quarterly business reviews, and operational alignment sessions.

  • Monitor performance against client KPIs .

  • Deliver comprehensive "one-stop-shop" solutions tailored to evolving client requirements.

  • Negotiate contract extensions and renewals in coordination

  • Technical background in the Oil & Gas / Offshore Energy sector preferred.

  • Strong professional network and international market exposure are highly advantageous.

  • Demonstrated track record of securing strategic sales and driving business growth.

  • Exceptional selling, communication, and complex negotiation skills.

  • Proven capability to analyze market trends and capitalize on growth opportunities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Strong organizational and project management expertise.

  • Financial acumen with proficiency in budgeting and forecasting.

  • Collaborative team player with demonstrated leadership capability.

  • Results-oriented mindset with strong self-motivation and resilience.

  • Adept at achieving results via formal corporate channels and strategic networks.

  • Willingness to travel (approx. 25–30%).

  • Fluency in French, Italian, or Arabic is an asset.
