Key Responsibilities

Define and lead business development strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives
Build, prioritize, and actively manage a portfolio of opportunities across pipeline and storage assets
Lead and develop a team of business development professionals, establishing clear expectations, coaching performance, and building long-term capability
Foster a team-first, highly collaborative culture focused on enterprise value creation
Balance visionary opportunity identification with practical execution realities to ensure resources are focused on the most viable opportunities
Origination & Deal Execution (Player–Coach)
Personally originate, structure, and advance key opportunities, particularly those that are complex or high impact
Maintain direct involvement in commercial strategy, negotiations, and customer engagement across priority deals
Lead the structuring and negotiation of precedent agreements and definitive commercial contracts
Customer Engagement & Market Leadership
Build and maintain senior-level relationships with customers, shippers, and market participants

Represent the company in key commercial discussions and industry interactions
Project Development & Cross-Functional Execution
Lead and actively engage with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Regulatory, Legal, Environmental, Finance) to advance projects from concept through FID
Work closely with technical teams to understand system capabilities, including pipeline hydraulics and base business operations, and translate those into commercial solutions
Ensure alignment across all stakeholders to deliver executable, well-structured projects
Execution Intensity & Accountability
Take personal ownership for advancing opportunities and delivering results
Demonstrate a willingness to lean in and commit the time and focus required during critical project phases
Drive pace, remove barriers, and ensure accountability across both the team and broader organization
Commercial Structuring, Governance & Board Engagement
Develop investment cases and lead executive- and Board-level presentations, clearly articulating opportunity, risk, and recommended path forward
Ensure all commercial structures align with legal, regulatory, operational, and financial requirements
Actively contribute to capital allocation decisions and enterprise prioritization
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
