- Temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant position available in Athletics.
- Start Date
- Position available on or after August 17, 2026 and ending on or before May 31, 2027. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
- Job Description/Duties
- Duties include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for pregame setup and post-game cleanup.
- Handle game ticketing operations.
- Serve as the public address (P.A.) announcer during games.
- Operate the digital scoreboard throughout the game.
- Play approved music during game events.
- Assist with seating and manage the crowd as an usher.
- Mop the court during indoor games to maintain player safety.
- Oversee ball management duties on game days.
- Run the outfield scoreboard during baseball games.
- Assist with setup and cleanup for special events.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrates the ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently.
- Demonstrates the ability to multitask.
- Demonstrates the ability to work some evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
- Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
- Salary Range
- $16.90 per hour.
