SalesSales Development Rep
DeepInfra is building the foundation for companies to use modern AI in production: simply, reliably, and at scale. Our team has deep experience building large systems that serve hundreds of millions of users, and we're bringing that same level of rigor to a rapidly evolving AI inference space. Our mission is to make advanced AI available to people and teams everywhere.
We're an early, tight-knit team where you can influence product direction, try bold ideas, and drive meaningful work forward quickly. If you want to join a fast-growing company at a defining moment, we'd love to talk.
DeepInfra is backed by leading investors including A.Capital, Felicis, 500 Global, Georges Harik, Samsung Next, Supermicro, Upper90, Peak6, SVAngel and Nvidia.
Demand for DeepInfra is growing fast, and some of our biggest opportunities are companies that haven't found us yet. We need a Sales Development Representative to go find them. You'll hunt for whales, earn the first conversation, and turn it into qualified pipeline for our Account Executives.
You'll often be the first person a prospect hears from at DeepInfra. That means knowing their business well enough to say something worth hearing, and our product well enough to back it up. This is a high-impact seat on a growing sales team, with real influence over how we build our outbound motion.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Hunt for whales: identify and break into high-value accounts, from fast-scaling AI-native companies to enterprises with major inference spend.
- →Own your pipeline number, building it through outbound prospecting across email, phone, LinkedIn, and events.
- →Research each prospect's business and AI strategy, then craft personalized messaging that connects their challenges to how DeepInfra can help.
- →Partner with Account Executives on top accounts, mapping buying committees and multi-threading to the right decision-makers.
- →Run first conversations to uncover needs, qualify opportunities, and book well-prepared meetings for our AEs.
- →Use AI tools every day to research accounts, personalize outreach, and multiply your output.
- →Stay current on the AI ecosystem, from new open-source models to inference and GPU trends, and share what you learn with GTM and Engineering.
- Technical savvy and real curiosity. You want to understand how our product works, how inference and GPU infrastructure fit together, and where DeepInfra sits in the AI ecosystem. You can hold a credible conversation with engineers and ML leaders.
- Whale-hunting experience. A track record of breaking into large, complex organizations and booking meetings with senior technical and business decision-makers.
- Outbound prospecting chops. Proven success running outbound and consistently hitting meeting and pipeline targets, ideally selling technical products like cloud, infrastructure, developer tools, or AI.
- AI native. You use AI every day, from account research to outreach, and keep finding new ways to work smarter with it.
- Strong business acumen. You quickly grasp a prospect's business and challenges, and turn that insight into messaging that lands.
- Excellent verbal and written communication. Your emails get replies, you're confident on the phone, and you can explain complex ideas simply.
- Hard-working. A high-energy approach and the persistence to own outcomes in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Get a front-row seat to the AI inference market and the companies building on it.
- Learn the full sales cycle alongside experienced AEs, working closely with GTM and Engineering.
- Help bring advanced AI infrastructure to companies and teams everywhere.
- Join at a formative moment for the sales org, with the chance to shape how we prospect as the team scales.
Three traits define the people who thrive here, and this role leans on all three.
Initiative. You take hold of your territory and find creative ways into accounts no one handed you. When our playbook has a gap, you close it rather than wait for someone to notice.
Drive. The hard problems are the fun part. Inference at trillions of tokens a week is a genuinely difficult engineering and commercial puzzle, and the people who do well here are energized by that rather than worn down by it.
Grit. Big accounts rarely say yes on the first touch, and the market moves weekly. You stay with it, keep learning the material as it shifts underneath you, and treat every setback as a lesson rather than a wall.
