Sr. Global Solutions Engineer

This is a high-impact, customer-facing technical leadership role supporting Digital Realty’s largest and most strategic customers. You will own the technical relationship across the full lifecycle of an opportunity — from discovery and solution design through contracting and deployment — acting as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams.

You’ll play a critical role in driving customer success by translating business and technical requirements into engineered solutions, ensuring opportunities progress smoothly while delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

• →Lead technical engagement with customers, including site tours, sales calls, solution design, pricing support, and contract negotiations
• →Act as the central hub for technical and engineering communications across internal and external stakeholders
• →Discover and evaluate customer requirements, designing fit-for-purpose data center solutions
• →Engineer and cost solutions for large, complex customer opportunities
• →Own and complete technical responses for RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs
• →Serve as a subject matter expert on data center infrastructure, building systems, and white-space fit-outs
• →Partner with Design & Construction, Operations, Implementation, and Portfolio teams to support project delivery
• →Support technical account planning, pipeline reviews, and sales forecasting
• →Represent Digital Realty at industry events and technical forums
• →

  Monitor industry trends and provide insights to support strategic customer accounts
