We open in early 2027 and are looking for a bilingual Inside Sales Representative to join our initial three-person team. You will help us bridge language barriers, foster trust, and deliver an exceptional experience to our Spanish-speaking customers in a diverse, vibrant community.

FASTSIGNS of Wyomissing-Reading is a locally owned franchise of the largest visual communications network in North America. We partner with contractors, manufacturers, healthcare providers, property managers, and local businesses to create building/safety signage, banners, vehicle graphics, wall graphics, trade show displays, and more.

About the role

This role combines consultative sales, customer service, project coordination, and hands-on sign production. Designed as a high-growth development opportunity, the ideal candidate will transition into a dedicated Outside Sales Representative position within one year.

What you'll do:

Consultative Sales & Customer Service:

Consultative Sales & Account Management: Serve as primary contact across walk-in, phone, email, and web channels; conduct sales conversations to recommend products, prepare estimates, process POS orders, and maintain ongoing client communication.
Order Administration & Workflow: Complete work orders, collect pre-payments, secure artwork approvals, manage delinquent accounts, and update daily WIP summaries.
Proactive Prospecting: Identify prospects, maintain a qualified lead database through referrals and outbound contact (phone, email, social), and follow up on leads.
Showroom Standards: Maintain a clean, organized, attractive, and welcoming retail showroom environment.

Bilingual Communication:

Bilingual Customer Conversations: Handle walk-in, phone, and email conversations in English or Spanish, including needs assessment, estimating, and order updates.
Bilingual Sign Copy: Proofread English and Spanish sign copy and proofs for spelling, grammar, and accuracy; adapt basic messaging for bilingual signage.
Language Resource: Serve as the team's Spanish-language contact for customers and vendors.

Sign Production & Finishing:

Vinyl & Substrate Preparation: Follow detailed layouts to place computer-cut vinyl or graphics on substrates, prepare materials (cutting, painting, cleaning), and weed vinyl.
Finishing & Quality Control: Perform finishing operations (laminating, mounting) and quality assurance checks pre- and post-production against Work Orders.

Ideal Qualifications for FASTSIGNS Inside Sales Representative:

Proficiency in spoken and written English and Spanish
2-3 years of retail or counter sales experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Outgoing, responsive, eager to learn and able to build relationships
Great listening and organization skills

Schedule & Work-Life Balance:

Full-Time (40hrs/week), Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm.
Fixed, predictable daytime hours with no nights, weekends, or major holiday shifts.

Compensation:

Compensation includes an hourly rate, plus commission.
