Set along the unspoiled coastline of Miches, Four Seasons Resort Tropicalia will bring Four Seasons service, authentic Dominican warmth and a deep sense of place to one of the country’s most remarkable destinations. As part of our pre-opening team, you will help shape the culture, systems and guest experience from the very beginning.
About the Role
~1 min readAs a key member of the Commercial team, the Dominican Republic based Group Sales Manager leads sales efforts within assigned markets by building strategic relationships, generating brand awareness through targeted outreach and securing group business required to achieve budgeted sales goals.
Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Drive and deliver group sales within assigned markets through a direct sales plan and strategic outreach that cultivates a refined portfolio of key accounts.
- →Develop strategic account plans and maintain a healthy pipeline to achieve room night, revenue and profitability targets.
- →Lead sales calls, presentations, site inspections, trade shows, client events and networking activities.
- →Conduct site inspections, as needed, for sales colleagues.
- →Prepare proposals, negotiate business terms and coordinate contracts in line with Resort strategy and approval guidelines.
- →Collaborate with Commercial leadership, Revenue Management and Conference Services to secure business, maximize profitability and align each agreement with exceptional guest expectations.
- →Maintain complete and accurate account, activity and booking information in the Resort’s CRM and sales systems.
- →Monitor market conditions and competitor activity, sharing actionable insights with Commercial leadership.
- →Represent Four Seasons and Tropicalia as a confident, polished and authentic brand ambassador.
- →Support pre-opening projects and other commercial priorities as assigned.
- →College degree or equivalent professional experience.
- →Two to three years of relevant group sales experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
- →Demonstrated ability to prospect, negotiate, close business and build long-term client relationships.
- →Strong commercial judgment, organization, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- →Proficiency with CRM, hotel sales systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- →Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
- →Ability to travel and work flexible hours when required for clients, events and Resort operations.
You will join a cohesive pre-opening team with opportunities to build a successful career with global potential. This position will be based in Punta Cana, with travel to the property as necessary. Adaptability, sound judgment and attention to detail will be essential, and the schedule may reflect operational and client needs, including evenings, weekends and holidays when required.
