Business Development Manager AP&T (NL/DE)

Gallagher is looking for an entrepreneurial Business Development Manager for our AP&T product category to open new markets in the Netherlands and Germany. You will develop markets, build strategic partner networks and translate opportunities into scalable growth.
Exploring commercial opportunities in “white areas” across the Netherlands and Germany
Developing new distribution and partner networks
Initiating pilot projects and early-stage sales initiatives
Positioning Gallagher solutions within tender, subsidy and policy frameworks
Gathering and sharing market insights with product and innovation teams
Preparing markets for scaling and handover to sales
You will have plenty of autonomy and responsibility to build within an international playing field. You are successful when opportunities have translated into tangible growth, impactful partnerships and a scalable model that our commercial teams can further develop.
As BDM AP&T, you report to the Head of Key Accounts & New Markets and work closely with colleagues in sales, key accounts, marketing, product management and innovation across Europe and with Gallagher Group in New Zealand. You collaborate across departments to launch pilot projects, drive market expansion and develop new commercial initiatives. Externally, you build lasting relationships with distributors, government institutions, innovation programmes, NGOs and research organisations. You navigate an international stakeholder landscape where commerce, innovation and policy intersect. While others manage existing portfolios, you build the ecosystems in which AP&T can grow.
