About the Role:
ComForCare Home Care - South Miami and Coral Gables is looking for a motivated and organized Home Care Office Administrator to join our dedicated team in Miami, FL. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in keeping our office running smoothly while making a real difference in the lives of our clients and caregivers. Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including phones, scheduling, and correspondence
  • Coordinate caregiver and client scheduling to ensure seamless home care service delivery
  • Maintain accurate client and employee records in compliance with home care regulations
  • Assist with caregiver onboarding, HR documentation, and personnel file management
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, families, and caregivers
  • Support billing, payroll processing, and basic bookkeeping tasks
  • Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting jobs and screening applicants
  • Ensure compliance with state home care licensing and documentation requirements
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in home health care, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred
  • At least 1 year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care or in a facility licensed under Chapter 395 (hospital), Chapter 400 Part II (nursing home), or under Chapter 429, Part I (assisted living)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced office environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling or home care software
  • Compassionate, professional demeanor with a client-first attitude
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
