Team Lead - Business Development

OB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Team Lead in Business Development for an insurance company in Dubai to drive team growth and success, meet revenue targets, and expand market presence. This role involves managing a team of business development professionals, focusing on client acquisition and retention. The position offers a competitive salary with performance-based commissions to reward achieving business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
2. 5+ years of business development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably in the insurance industry.
3. Demonstrated success in business growth and market expansion.
4. Strong relationship-building skills with clients and stakeholders.
5. Knowledge of UAE insurance market and industry regulations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Lead, mentor, and manage a team to achieve sales and revenue targets.
2. Develop and implement effective strategies to expand market share in the insurance sector.
3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation and networking.
4. Maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and partners for long-term success.
5. Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
6. Collaborate with senior management to align business goals with company objectives.
7. Monitor team performance, provide coaching and conduct reviews.
8. Track and report on business development activities to meet KPIs.
9. Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to support client acquisition and retention efforts.
