The Solutions Consultant - Business/Commercial Banking is responsible for maintaining deep product knowledge of Lumin Digital’s Business and Commercial Banking offerings, partnering closely with sales and product teams to deliver impactful demonstrations, roadmap insights, and subject matter expertise. This role is critical to helping prospects, clients, and internal stakeholders understand the value of our business and commercial banking solutions.
In this role, the Solutions Consultant will leverage polished presentation abilities, collaborative pre-sales experience, and digital banking expertise to articulate and differentiate the value, and expand the adoption of Lumin Digital’s business and commercial banking product.
Responsibilities

Maintain product knowledge of business and commercial banking products through collaboration with product owners and engagement in industry trends and events.

Evaluate and communicate roadmap developments to ensure sales and client-facing teams are aligned with upcoming capabilities and enhancements.

Serve as the primary subject matter expert (SME), reviewing and validating documentation for accuracy, clarity, and consistency across teams.

Deliver compelling product demonstrations, ranging from executive-level overviews to in-depth technical sessions tailored to client needs.

Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure cohesive, accurate, and strategic messaging in all internal and external communications.

Support and advise sales, marketing, technical, and channel teams in positioning Lumin Digital’s business and commercial banking solutions effectively.

Lead contributions to RFPs, maintaining and refining business/commercial banking content to reflect current and emerging capabilities.

Collaborate with internal SMEs to develop precise, value-driven responses to standard and custom client inquiries.

Provide strategic input into deal scope and structure by gathering client requirements and coordinating with product and development teams for SOW inclusion.

Partner with product managers on a weekly release cycle to review upcoming enhancements, update demo environments and scripts, and channel field feedback back into the roadmap.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Professional certifications like AAP, APRP, or CTP are a bonus.

10 years of experience in digital banking, fintech, or financial services technology, with deep expertise in business and commercial banking platforms, including cash management, treasury services, digital lending, and commercial account management solutions.

Demonstrated hands-on mastery of business and commercial banking workflows, integrations, and client use cases developed through roles such as product management, implementation leadership, commercial operations, solution architecture, or advanced sales engineering.

Experience designing and delivering engaging, technically precise product demonstrations tailored to executive, operational, and technical stakeholders.

Extensive experience partnering with product and sales teams to shape solution strategies, define opportunity scope, and communicate complex commercial banking capabilities in clear business terms.

Proven expertise in business and commercial banking product knowledge, workflows, and solution positioning, with the ability to articulate value to both business and technical stakeholders.

Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills, with extensive experience delivering persuasive product demonstrations and strategic insights to executive and C-suite audiences.

Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities to translate complex business challenges into solution-driven recommendations using Lumin’s product capabilities.

Strong collaboration and influence skills, with a track record of building trusted partnerships across sales, product, delivery, and client teams.

Deep understanding of credit union and banking operations related to business deposits, lending, and treasury management, including applicable regulatory and compliance frameworks.

High degree of technical fluency and the ability to navigate system architectures, integrations, and data flows to effectively demonstrate solution feasibility and differentiation.

Executive presence and consultative acumen, capable of tailoring communication, tone, and content to suit audience sophistication and business context
