Reporting directly to the Director of Food & Beverage, this opportunity will manage the operations of Trivet Restaurant and In Room Dining encompassed under the JW Marriott Auckland.

The Restaurant Manager will:

Be responsible for restaurant shift operations and overall management of the team

Assist with promoting the restaurant, menu planning, maintaining service excellence, and driving a positive and luxury culture

Improves service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed

Oversees the financial aspects of the department including delivering top line revenue, cost controls and labour management

Ensures compliance with all food & beverage policies, standards and procedures by training/supervising, the follow-up and hands on management

Strives to ensure guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget

Be accountable for enforcing all legal obligations professionally and consistently

Determine training needed to accomplish service goals and implementing robust plans

Strengthen the food and beverage/culinary team by assisting in other outlets when needed
