Private funds manage $15T in capital and are growing at 20% YoY, but with increasing regulatory scrutiny and investor demands for transparency, the need for world class software to help private fund CFOs is crucial.

We are equipping fund managers with intuitive, flexible fund management software, enabling private investment managers to focus on what they do best: driving returns for their investors. We are backed by leading venture capital firms and a large number of strategic investors.

Maybern is an NYC based company with a strong in-office culture to drive collaboration, and we are looking to make strong additions to our team.

We are looking for a determined Enterprise Account Executive who understands the value of Maybern and can confidently articulate our value proposition to C-level individuals in the private funds space. The ideal candidate can hit the ground running, is capable of working independently, and is excited by the thought of expanding our market share. Top performers excel at generating new opportunities and exceeding quota, while thriving on solving real challenges for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategy in the NYC territory within the private funds market segment 

  • Conduct effective meetings with prospects, in addition to developing qualification sessions to quantify ROI by asking excellent questions and listening

  • Work in close collaboration with leadership and other internal teams 

  • Develop and progress opportunities and close agreements in the banking and investment management markets

  • Flexible / adaptable: You adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions and are able to work without much direction

  • Collaborative: You love to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment managing both internal and external stakeholders, excel at distilling and incorporating feedback, and are a clear and consistent communicator

  • Efficient: You’re able to produce significant output with minimal wasted effort; you’re process-oriented and are always looking for ways to improve

  • Persistent: You demonstrate tenacity and willingness to go the distance to get something done

  • Organized: You plans, organize, schedule, and budget time and resources in an efficient, productive manner with a focus on key priorities

  • Leader. You're eager to shape our sales foundation and will level up team practices and processes. You can take broad guidance and determine the best path forward. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable wearing multiple hats

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or accounting or equivalent professional experience

  • Have exposure to and a proficient understanding of the banking or asset management space, or a demonstrated ability to sell into either market

  • Are experienced in selling SaaS products; fintech or banking experience are highly desirable

  • Have 5+ years' experience running the full sales cycle (cold call to close) of a complex solution, using a consultative approach

  • Possess demonstrated knowledge/experience regarding back office banking operations

  • Are experienced with native SaaS solutions, and their unique value relative to on-premise solutions

  • Have a proven record of exceeding revenue targets, including achieving annual multi-million-dollar sales goals

  • Possess superb interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills

*The compensation range for this role is $150k-$170k base salary + $150k-$170k commission.
