Our client is a well-established hospitality group in Malta operating a portfolio of premium Italian restaurants. Each venue offers a distinct dining concept, united by a strong focus on authentic cuisine, exceptional guest experiences, and high-quality service standards. The group regularly hosts private events, corporate functions, and special celebrations across its locations.

The Sales & Events Executive will be responsible for driving private dining, group bookings, corporate events, and special occasions across multiple venues within the group.

This is a fast-paced, client-facing role requiring strong sales ability, excellent organisation, and a hands-on approach to event coordination from enquiry through to execution.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and manage enquiries for private dining, group bookings, and corporate events
  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within corporate, tourism, and local markets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, event planners, and corporate partners
  • Conduct venue tours and presentations to prospective clients
  • Manage all event enquiries from initial contact through to completion and follow-up
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, contracts, and event confirmations
  • Coordinate with operations teams to ensure seamless event execution across venues
  • Oversee event setup and ensure all details are delivered to a high standard
  • Provide on-site support during key events where required
  • Work closely with the marketing team on seasonal campaigns and event promotions
  • Assist in developing event packages and promotional offerings
  • Support social media or marketing initiatives linked to events and bookings
  • Maintain accurate records of all enquiries, bookings, and conversions
  • Prepare regular sales and performance reports
  • Track event outcomes and provide feedback for continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality, events, sales, or F&B operations (1–2 years minimum preferred)
  • Strong understanding of event coordination and client relationship management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive, energetic, and target-driven mindset
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Strong team player with a hands-on approach
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and event-based hours
