Internal Sales and Customer Administrator

Internal Sales and Customer Administrator Location: East London Role Overview Our client is seeking an organised and customer-focused Internal Sales and Customer Administrator to coordinate customer orders from receipt through to final delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, suppliers, dispatch and production to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time. Key Responsibilities Receive and process customer orders on the system. Monitor orders and communicate progress to customers. Liaise with dispatch to ensure orders are delivered timeously. Monitor and coordinate outstanding and back-orders. Assist the Factory Manager with monitoring production progress. Place orders with suppliers. Maintain an accurate order register. Provide weekly order updates to relevant stakeholders. Receive stock from suppliers and complete GRVs. Resolve order, stock and delivery queries efficiently. Maintain accurate customer, supplier and order records. Skills and Competencies Proficient in Microsoft Office. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer-service and relationship-building ability. Good organisation and time-management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking ability. Sound decision-making skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to coordinate effectively across departments. Requirements Minimum Requirements Matric or Grade 12. Valid driver’s licence. Minimum of two years’ experience in a sales or customer-service environment.
