Plumbing Tree is a leader in the Service and Repair Plumbing industry, servicing the San Diego County area, and is looking for a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our business development team. You will be an ambassador for Plumbing Tree - the initial point of contact with potential customers - so we are looking for someone who loves engaging with others and can represent our brand well!

Responsibilities

Going door-to-door in neighborhoods and businesses, where we either have jobs going on or other selected areas, to build connections/relationships by showcasing what sets Plumbing Tree apart and educating home and business owners the importance of inspecting their plumbing systems regularly, with the goal of setting appointments for what we call, Plumbing Health Inspections.

  • Resilience/Persistence: Door-Knocking is not for the faint of heart, that is why we are looking for a go-getter who views challenges as stepping stones. Your resilience will empower you to knock on the next door with the same enthusiasm as the first.
  • Interpersonal Skills/Building Rapport: Successful knocking requires connecting with people on a human level, building trust quickly, and making the potential client feel comfortable rather than just being another salesperson at the door.
  • Communication/Adaptability: The ability to clearly and confidently articulate a message, actively listen, and understand how different personalities require different conversations is essential for making a strong first impression, lowering guards, and generating more leads.
  • Tech Savvy/Organized: Proficient in working with a Tablet, Smartphone, and learning our CRM software for effective customer relationship management.
