Senior Associate

Those in proposal strategy at PwC will effectively communicate ideas, solutions and value propositions in a written format to potential clients or stakeholders. Working in this area, you will support the largest, most strategic opportunities at current or prospective clients by providing end-to-end professional pursuit coaching, pursuit and BXT (Business, Experience, Technology) sales methodology, professional pursuit coaching, bid management, bid evaluation and copy-editing support and advice.

Join the Assurance Activation Hub within Internal Firm Services (IFS) at PwC Switzerland. The team supports the Audit business by creating high-quality proposals and client materials, blending communication, sales, audit, and design to craft compelling client stories. Collaboration with Assurance teams, Partners, and global functions drives impact in a dynamic, inclusive environment that values diversity and innovation. We offer flexible working hours with a hybrid model. A minimum of 2 days per week in a Swiss PwC office is required, ideally in the Bern/Zurich area, depending on projects and plans.

Your Impact

 

• Lead end to end proposal and pursuit processes for Audit and Assurance engagements, from planning to final delivery, ensuring quality, consistency and timely execution across multiple stakeholders
• Shape compelling, client focused content in German and English, including written proposals, presentation decks, video or demo scripts and other pursuit related materials
• Enable effective collaboration with audit teams, subject matter experts, sales coaches, transformation specialists and designers to translate complex offerings into clear value propositions
• Apply a tech savvy and innovative mindset by leveraging AI tools and digital solutions to increase efficiency and enhance the client experience
• Research clients, industries and market trends to tailor proposals and differentiate PwC in a competitive landscape
• Review and refine proposal materials to ensure accuracy, impact and alignment with PwC policies and brand guidelines
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing best practices, constructively challenging existing approaches and introducing new ideas across pursuits

Your Skill Set

 

• 2–4 years of experience in proposal management, bid management or proposal writing, ideally within the services industry; experience in business development, account management, project management or marketing can also be leveraged
• Full professional proficiency in German and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of French or Italian is an advantage
• Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to prioritise, manage multiple deadlines and take ownership in dynamic environments
• Client centric mindset combined with curiosity to understand internal and external stakeholder needs and translate them into impactful solutions
• High attention to detail and a strong quality orientation
• Collaborative and open minded working style, with confidence to engage and constructively challenge senior stakeholders
• Solid PowerPoint skills and a strong interest in digital tools and AI enabled ways of working, including systematic use of Copilot and ChatGPT equivalent solutions
