We are seeking a driven and commercially minded Business Development Manager to join a growing remote recruitment business connecting top South African talent with leading UK companies. Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the UK market

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients

  • Conduct outbound sales activities including cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn networking

  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to closing deals

  • Understand client hiring needs and present tailored recruitment solutions

  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure successful delivery of candidates

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline management within CRM systems

  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales and revenue targets

  • Attend virtual meetings and presentations with prospective clients

  • Stay informed about recruitment trends, market activity, and competitor offerings


Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business development, sales, or recruitment sales

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Experience working with UK-based clients or international markets is advantageous

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Confidence using CRM systems, LinkedIn, and sales outreach tools

  • Professional and consultative approach to sales

  • Reliable laptop or computer with stable high-speed internet connection

  • Ability to work UK business hours
