We are seeking a results-driven Regional Assistant Sales Manager to drive commercial vehicle sales, support regional sales teams, and build strong client relationships across the North Central, North Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa, Uva, Northern, and Eastern regions of Sri Lanka. The role requires a seasoned sales professional with experience in the motor, leasing, finance, or banking sectors and a proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- → Assist in leading, coaching, and motivating the sales team to achieve regional sales targets.
- → Support the planning and execution of sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
- → Monitor sales performance and prepare reports for senior management.
- → Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, strategic partners, leasing companies, and financial institutions.
- → Support the implementation of sales compensation and incentive programs.
- → Analyze sales reports and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- → Coordinate with internal departments including Marketing, Accounts, After Sales, and Customer Care to ensure seamless customer service and sales operations.
- → Assist in preparing and managing budgets related to sales activities, promotions, travel, and events.
- → Drive customer engagement initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
- → Support regional business development efforts and identify new sales opportunities.
Requirements
~1 min read- Age below 35 years.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales, including field sales, customer relationship management, tender sales, or fleet management.
- Experience within the motor industry, leasing, finance, or banking sectors is preferred.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets and contributing to business growth.
- Strong team management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide sales teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Experience preparing and presenting sales reports and performance analyses.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, corporate clients, and financial institutions.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required.
