We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accounts Executive to support the organization's accounting, financial reporting, inventory management, and compliance functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial standards.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- → Maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, ledgers, and daily accounting transactions.
- → Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes, ensuring timely collections and payments.
- → Prepare statutory schedules and support compliance with VAT, SSCL, WHT, and other regulatory requirements.
- → Monitor and reconcile inventory records, ensuring accurate stock accounting and reporting.
- → Perform bank reconciliations, cash management activities, and payment processing.
- → Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations.
- → Prepare management reports, including revenue, sales, receivables, payables, and aging reports.
- → Support budgeting, profitability analysis, and financial reporting requirements.
- → Coordinate with internal departments to ensure the accuracy of financial and operational information.
- → Assist with audits and support continuous improvement of accounting processes and controls.
- Part qualification in CA, ACCA, or CIMA, or a Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
- Experience in the automobile, service, trading, or related industry would be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and inventory management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of VAT, SSCL, WHT, and other statutory requirements.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
