We're seeking an exceptional Senior Account Manager, preferably based in Kenya, to lead client relationships for a prestigious African conglomerate with operations spanning energy, hospitality, real estate, and conservation. This role requires someone who can navigate complex stakeholder dynamics and translate authentic African perspectives into powerful thought leadership content.

• →Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for the client's Head of Communications, building a strong working relationship based on trust and strategic value
• →Develop deep understanding of East African business landscape, particularly in energy, conservation, and infrastructure sectors
• →Oversee content development that reflects an authentically African perspective while meeting international quality standards
• →Navigate cultural nuances and political sensitivities across multiple African markets
• →Translate complex technical and industry information into compelling narratives
• →Manage project timelines and deliverables across multiple workstreams
• →Bridge communication between international teams and local stakeholders

• 5+ years of account management experience, preferably with high-profile corporate clients in Kenya
• Demonstrated understanding of East African business environment, especially energy sector dynamics
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate nuanced ideas
• Cultural fluency in both local Kenyan context and international business environments
• Experience managing content development for C-suite executives
• Strong project management capabilities
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field

• Previous agency experience at international or pan-African firms
• Background in energy, infrastructure, or conservation sectors
• Understanding of ESG communications and sustainability narratives
• Experience developing thought leadership for senior executives
• Knowledge of regional differences across East and Southern African markets
• Experience with social listening and digital content strategy
• Understanding of the political landscape in key East African markets
