About the Role:
The Admin / Business Development Specialist will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations and growth of a growing insurance brokerage based in New Jersey. The company is seeking a highly organized and proactive professional to take ownership of administrative workflows while supporting outbound business development efforts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys bringing structure, follow-through, and momentum to a growing business.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Manage customer-related administrative tasks, including payment reminders, follow-ups, and insurance renewal reminders.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and internal tracking systems to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
- Support day-to-day operational needs and ad-hoc administrative tasks as they arise.
- Ensure timely communication with clients and internal stakeholders regarding outstanding items and next steps.
Business Development Support
- Assist with outbound outreach efforts, including LinkedIn prospecting and engagement through the company page.
- Support lead tracking, follow-ups, and coordination related to new business opportunities.
- Help maintain organized pipelines and documentation for business development activities.
Process & Organization
- Use CRM and project management tools to track tasks, communications, and deadlines.
- Proactively identify gaps, inefficiencies, or missed follow-ups and take initiative to resolve them.
- Support the implementation and improvement of repeatable processes as the company scales.
Requirements

- Proficient with CRM systems, project management tools, and digital workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.

- Proactive self-starter who takes ownership of tasks and follows through without constant supervision.
- Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
