About the Role
~1 min readWe are looking for a driven and highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join a fast-growing company serving the insurance, legal, and investigations sectors across North America.
This role is focused primarily on outbound prospecting and appointment setting. The SDR will conduct high-volume cold outreach to generate qualified meetings for senior sales team members. Success in this role comes from consistency, confidence on the phone, resilience, and strong follow-up skills.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their sales career who wants to sharpen their outbound prospecting abilities and grow within a performance-driven environment.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Conduct high-volume outbound cold calling to prospective clients
- →Generate qualified meetings for senior sales representatives
- →Follow up with prospects through email and LinkedIn outreach
- →Build relationships with decision-makers across insurance, legal, and investigations industries
- →Maintain accurate prospect and outreach tracking within HubSpot or CRM systems
- →Manage follow-up conversations from initial outreach through booked meetings
- →Support outreach tied to conferences, events, and marketing campaigns
- →Meet daily, weekly, and monthly outreach KPIs
- Approximately 90% outbound cold calling
- Approximately 10% email follow-up, inbox management, and LinkedIn outreach
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls daily
- Positive, competitive, and resilient personality
- Coachable and eager to improve
- Organized with strong follow-up discipline
- Able to work independently in a remote environment
- Based in Cape Town, South Africa
