About the Client:
Rain Intelligence helps law firms identify, investigate, and develop potential cases through research, data, and strategic insight.
About the Role:
We are looking for an autonomous and highly responsible Business Development Representative who will take full ownership of the business development process. Given the specialized nature of our reports, a strong legal background is a requirement for this role, as you will need to understand diverse practice areas to configure our internal software correctly.
Role Responsibilities:
- Outbound Prospecting: Proactively initiate contact with warm leads and new strategic prospects (specifically targeting law firms) to qualify them and generate new business opportunities.
- Pipeline Generation: Strategically set up discovery meetings and initial consultations for the Founder (Mohammed) to drive growth and build the sales pipeline.
- Targeted Outreach: Craft and execute highly personalized and compelling email campaigns (using provided templates and leveraging CRM data) that resonate with the specific needs of attorneys and legal practice areas.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct in-depth research on prospective law firms, practice areas (e.g., antitrust, IP, privacy), and key decision-makers to ensure outreach is relevant and timely.
- CRM Management: Rigorously track all sales activities, prospect interactions, and lead progression within the Sales CRM to maintain a clean and accurate sales forecast.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years of demonstrable success in a Sales, Business development, or Lead Generation role.
- Industry Focus: Proven experience or a strong understanding of selling into law firms or legal technology is highly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Very familiar with a Sales CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and expert in using professional outreach tools (e.g., Outlook, sales engagement platforms).
- Skills: Exceptional professional writing and communication skills for impactful client-facing communication.
