Role: Full Cycle Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Priority Location: Global

Working Hours: 8AM - 8PM EST (Flexible during the core business hours)

Salary Range: $2,000 - $2,500

Type of contract: Full-Time

Type of job: Remote

About the Company:

Our client builds simple, secure, and powerful out-of-band hardware management tools. Our flagship KVM-over-IP devices allow IT admins, DevOps teams, datacenters, and MSPs to securely manage servers and hardware at the BIOS level from any browser—completely independent of the target operating system.

We are a lean, globally distributed team focused on building hardware that is simple to deploy, secure by design, and trusted when access matters most.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Full Cycle SDR to drive our outbound and inbound sales motion globally. Because our buyers are highly technical (SysAdmins, Infrastructure Leads, and IT Managers), this is not your typical high-volume, generic email-blast sales role. You will need to understand our product deeply, speak the language of IT professionals, and manage the sales pipeline from initial cold outreach all the way to closing smaller deals and onboarding MSP partners.

If you are a self-starter who loves both hunting for new business and closing deals—while operating with high autonomy in a fully remote environment—this role is for you.

Responsibilities

~2 min read
  • Prospecting & Lead Gen: Identify, research, and build lists of ideal target accounts (MSPs, mid-market datacenters, and IT infrastructure teams).
  • Multichannel Outreach: Run highly personalized cold outreach campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and phone. No cookie-cutter scripts—you will craft relevant, value-driven messages that resonate with technical buyers.
  • Inbound Management: Respond to inbound inquiries, qualify leads, and run discovery calls to understand prospects' technical requirements.
  • Full-Cycle Sales: Lead product demonstrations, handle objections, and navigate the procurement process to close deals for small-to-mid-sized accounts.
  • Partner Onboarding: Introduce managed service providers (MSPs) to our MSP Partner Program and help them standardize their recovery workflows using TinyPilot.
  • CRM & Pipeline Management: Keep our CRM pristine. Track deal stages, follow-ups, and customer feedback to help optimize our overall sales strategy.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of sales experience: Ideally in B2B SaaS, IT hardware, or tech sales (experience selling to IT, DevOps, SysAdmins, or MSPs is a massive plus).
  • Technical Aptitude: You don't need to be a developer, but you must be comfortable learning how a KVM-over-IP works, what "out-of-band management" means, and why an IT admin would need BIOS-level access.
  • Excellent Written & Verbal English: Your outreach needs to be sharp, professional, and clear. You can translate complex technical value props into clear business benefits.
  • Autonomous Work Ethic: You thrive in a fully remote environment. You are highly organized, manage your own schedule, and don't need to be micromanaged to hit your targets.
  • Resourcefulness: You are comfortable using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or similar modern sales stack tools to source leads and manage campaigns.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Base Salary: $2,000 – $2,500 USD per month (based on experience).
  • Fully Remote & Global: Work from anywhere in the world. As long as you have a stable internet connection and can overlap with key business hours, you choose where you work.
  • High Autonomy: We care about outcomes, not clock-watching. You’ll have the freedom to experiment with outreach strategies and own your pipeline.
  • Work with a Respected Product: Our users love TinyPilot. You will be selling a highly rated, open-source-friendly hardware product that solves real-world server downtime headaches.
