Salary: $2,000 – $3,000 USD per month (Commensurate with experience and "grade" of the candidate).

Our client is a national field team and brand management specialist providing head office services, retail distribution, and Amazon optimization (1P and 3P) for brands across the Pharmacy and Grocery sectors. They are looking for a high-caliber SDR based in South Africa to target decision-makers within Australian-based companies.
The ideal candidate possesses high technical acumen and the "executive presence" required to engage mid-to-senior level stakeholders (Directors and Head Buyers) at companies ranging from $5M to $60M in turnover.
Responsibilities

Strategic Prospecting: Identify and target brands within the Pharmacy and Food sectors (with a specific emphasis on Pharmacy).

The "Email-First" Approach: Execute a warm outreach strategy by sending introductory information/value propositions followed by a discovery call a few days later.

Executive Outreach: Confidently engage with corporate executives (typically aged 40–55) to qualify leads for the senior team.

Lead Qualification: Focus on quality over quantity. The goal is to qualify "reasonably good" leads within a 30–60 day sales cycle.

CRM Management: Maintain clean records of interactions and lead statuses using Asana or a similar recommended CRM/tracking tool.

Service Knowledge: Articulate companys diverse offerings, including national field merchandising, head office retail services, and global Amazon pathways.

Location: South Africa (Strong preference for the South African accent due to its high acceptance and familiarity in the Australian market).

Communication Style: Exceptionally well-spoken with a professional, organized, and persuasive phone manner. High proficiency in both written and verbal English is mandatory.

Professionalism: Highly organized and capable of managing their own workflow. You should be comfortable "making the script your own" while staying true to the brand’s core message.

Technical Acumen: Ability to understand and explain complex retail service models and digital/Amazon strategies.

Experience: Previous experience in SDR or B2B sales roles involving high-level decision-makers is preferred.
