About the company
When was the last time you made a new friend? The quality of your relationships is the single most important factor for your mental health. Travel has a unique ability to fast-forward the friendship-making process, which is why we’re on a mission to create one million meaningful friendships using the power of travel and technology as a platform for human connection.
We create curated social adventures for solo travellers in their 30s, 40s and 50s. Since launching in 2014, we’ve seen impressive year-on-year growth and become the category leader in a thriving, rapidly expanding market with the majority of our business now in the US.
About the role
We’re looking for an experienced and target-driven Travel Expert to join our Sales team. As a Travel Expert, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving company’s growth - engaging new customers across phone, chat and email, guiding them through the buying process, handling objections with confidence and consistently exceeding conversion targets. You’ll manage your sales pipeline independently, including actioning follow-ups, while also raising the bar for sales effectiveness across the team. This is a high-impact sales role where you’ll connect deeply with prospective travellers, guide them through emotionally significant decisions and deliver outstanding results. At the same time, our sales function is evolving - we’re building stronger structures, playbooks, and best practices, so you’ll have the chance not just to succeed individually, but to help shape how we sell, to refine processes, and share insights that influence the way our entire team operates.
You'll have a set roster of hours with occasional flexibility to support team sickness, leave or peak periods. Please note these periods may fall on weekends, public holiday shifts, or evenings.
