Quick Summary
Sales Development Representative (SDR) Employment Type: Full-time,
Employment Type: Full-time, Independent Contractor
Work Model: Remote
Work Hours: US time
About the role: The client is looking for an exceptional Sales Development Representative to join its growing sales organization and directly support its U.S.-based Sales Executives.
This is a true outbound sales development position. The SDR will not be responsible for closing the company's high-ticket products. Instead, their job is to create qualified opportunities for the Sales Executives by consistently identifying, contacting, engaging, and booking meetings with prospective clinic and business customers.
The company currently has two Sales Executives in the United States. Those executives are responsible for owning opportunities and ultimately closing business, but they need substantially more qualified conversations entering the top of the funnel. The SDR will become the engine that creates those opportunities.
The goal is simple:
Give the Sales Executives more qualified meetings so they can spend their time selling rather than prospecting.
This person will work directly with the Sales Executives and receive hands-on direction from them. They will be given prospect lists and will be expected to execute a high-volume outbound calling process while maintaining professional, highly fluent communication.
The primary commercial focus is the company's red-light therapy technology, particularly its full-body red-light therapy beds.
These are not low-ticket consumer products. The company sells sophisticated recovery and wellness technology into professional environments, with products capable of commanding five-figure purchase prices. The owner specifically described the clinic business as high-ticket and indicated that products can sell for well above $10,000.
The SDR therefore needs to understand that every meeting booked has meaningful commercial value.
This isn't about making calls simply to hit a dial number.
The objective is to create legitimate sales opportunities with clinics and businesses that could become customers.

The successful SDR will become a reliable source of qualified pipeline for the company's U.S. Sales Executives.
Success will ultimately be measured by more than simply dialing 100–150 numbers per day. The best person will combine high activity with high-quality conversations and strong meeting conversion.
The Sales Executives should feel that having this person on the team materially changes their ability to sell.
Instead of spending large portions of their day searching for prospects and making cold calls, they should have a consistent flow of qualified opportunities entering their calendars.
The client is open to SDRs and appointment setters from a variety of industries. Direct experience selling red-light therapy, medical devices, wellness technology, or fitness equipment is not required.
The company is much more interested in finding someone who has demonstrated that they can succeed in a high-volume outbound environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
-
2–3+ years of meaningful SDR, BDR, appointment-setting, or outbound sales experience
-
Demonstrated success booking qualified meetings
-
Excellent spoken English
-
Very strong conversational fluency
-
A professional, polished communication style

Minimal accent interference for a U.S. customer base
-
Comfort making 100+ calls per day

Strong persistence and follow-through

A competitive, goal-oriented personality
-
High personal accountability
-
The ability to work independently while taking direction from Sales Executives
-
Strong organizational skills
-
Comfort working with performance-based KPIs
-
A genuine desire to build a long-term sales career
This should be someone who likes making calls.
They should not need to be convinced to pick up the phone, and they should not become discouraged after hearing "no" repeatedly.
They need to be energetic, resilient, competitive, and comfortable with repetition.
At the same time, the client does not want someone who simply blasts through a call list. The best candidate will understand that the ultimate objective is to create quality opportunities for the sales team.
The company is growing quickly and has strong demand for its products. The company doesn't need another salesperson simply to "make calls."
It needs someone who can create pipeline at scale.
The Sales Executives already have the ability to close business. This hire gives them leverage.
That makes the SDR one of the most commercially important hires the company is making at this stage.
