TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE - Johannesburg | Hydraulics & Pneumatics Know pumps and motors? Know how to sell them? We want to hear from you. We’re looking for a Technical Sales Representative who can confidently talk hydraulics and pneumatics, understand what a customer needs and turn that technical knowledge into commercial results. This isn’t a role for someone who wants to sit behind a desk waiting for enquiries. We’re looking for a proactive, technically minded salesperson who enjoys getting in front of customers, finding new opportunities and closing deals. If you have solid experience selling hydraulic and pneumatic solutions, particularly pumps and motors, this could be a great next step. What you'll be doing You’ll take ownership of developing customer relationships and growing sales across your territory. Manage and develop relationships with new and existing customers Understand customer applications and recommend suitable hydraulic and pneumatic solutions Prepare quotations, negotiate and close deals Prospect for new customers and identify untapped business opportunities Generate leads through networking and proactive business development Build strong, long-term relationships with customers Maintain accurate customer and sales records on the automated system Work with the wider team to develop effective sales strategies Travel extensively to customers in Durban and Limpopo Requirements Matric At least 3 years’ sales experience within the hydraulics and pneumatics industry Good technical knowledge of pumps and motors A strong track record in sales and business development Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle Willingness and ability to travel extensively A proactive, target-driven approach to sales An advantage: Higher Technical Qualification Syspro experience Benefits R25 000 - R30 000 per month + Commission And a strong benefits package including: Company car Fuel card Medical aid Pension fund Laptop Cellphone Ready for your next move?
