- Location: East Region (Berlin, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Brandenburg and parts of Schleswig-Holstein) — you live within the sales territory
- Working hours: Full-time
- Work model: Field-based — approx. 60% travel (3 days in the field, 2 days working from home)
- Contract type / duration: Permanent, starting 1 January
Do you want to lead a field sales team and take responsibility for the sales results of an entire region? Do you want to drive strategy and team development at an international market leader? Then you might be the person we are looking for.
As our new Sales Manager East Region, you will be part of our Sales team and play an important role in achieving the sales targets in the East Region and leading the field sales team professionally and as line manager, with a team of nine employees. You will work closely with Marketing, Customer Service and Sales Operations to develop sales sustainably. This is a great opportunity to grow your leadership responsibility in an international organization.
What your day will look like
In this role, you will typically focus on:
- Providing professional and line leadership of the East field sales team for Mass Market.
- Planning, executing and achieving sales targets and sales KPIs.
- Continuously monitoring the market and analyzing competitors.
- Planning and running sales conferences.
- Coaching and developing team members, including feedback conversations and annual performance reviews.
- Working closely with Marketing, Customer Service and Sales Operations.
What you'll bring
- Completed commercial vocational training or university degree.
- At least five years of sales experience, ideally in FMCG.
- Initial leadership experience.
- Good English and German skills.
- Residence in the sales territory (East Germany), a driving licence valid in Germany, and willingness to travel approx. 60% of the time.
- Strong initiative, ambition and drive, and excellent communication skills as a team player.
