~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in account management or customer service within the transportation or warehousing industry.
- Proven ability to work independently during after-hours shifts with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience working in a 24/7 operational environment or in after-hours customer support roles.
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Experienced in the Expedited Industry, including Sprinter, Straight Truck, Full Truckload and Air Freight sourcing
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret logistics data and client metrics.
- Customer-centric and able to engage in calls/discussions with direct customers
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts, multitask and prioritize tasks effectively under pressure.
- Additional certifications related to supply chain or account management, such as APICS or PMP.
Responsibilities

- →Monitor account activity and performance metrics to identify potential challenges and opportunities for improvement during after-hours.
- →Maintain accurate records of client interactions, issues, and resolutions to ensure continuity and transparency.
- →Provide timely updates and reports to daytime account management teams to ensure seamless handoffs and ongoing client satisfaction.
- Strong communication skills enable the Account Manager to clearly convey information and build trust with clients and internal teams.
- Proficiency in CRM and logistics software supports efficient tracking and resolution of client issues.
- Analytical skills to interpret data and anticipate client needs and improve service delivery.
- Time management and multitasking abilities to ensure that the Account Manager can handle multiple priorities and maintain high service standards during non-traditional working hours.
