Senior Enterprise Account Executive, Agentic Banking

Help banks and credit unions put AI to work.
We are building Backbase's Agentic Banking business in North America and looking for an enterprise seller who wants to help shape it. You will help financial institutions improve customer service, equip their frontline teams and automate banking workflows through Conversational and Agentic AI.This is a quota-carrying role covering an agreed portfolio of new prospects and existing customers. You will lead Agentic opportunities from initial discovery through production agreements and expansion, working with account owners, Solutions, Product and Delivery. You will also help establish how we sell,
validate and scale this business.

Meet the Job

• Create and own your pipeline. Build targeted account plans, open doors through thoughtful outbound and executive engagement, and work with BDRs, Marketing and partners to turn relevant business problems into qualified opportunities.
• Earn executive trust. Build relationships across business, technology, operations and risk. Understand the customer's priorities, decision process and competing investments well enough to challenge assumptions and shape a credible AI roadmap.
• Sell measurable value. Identify specific workflows worth changing. Build the business case around service quality, productivity, cost and customer outcomes, with clear baselines and realistic economics.
• Lead complex deals. Own qualification, stakeholder alignment, proposals, negotiation and close
plans. Lead Agentic-first prospects and partner with existing account owners on one coordinated customer plan. Surface risks early and forecast honestly.
• Make validations count. Agree the sponsor, scope, success criteria, production economics and decision date before a paid validation begins. Coordinate a prepared onboarding with technical teams and lead the commercial path into production.
• Grow what customers use. Use adoption, workflow performance and consumption data with Customer Success and Solutions to identify realized value and the next commercial opportunity. Understand usage commitments, token costs and unit economics, and translate them into a clear commercial proposition.
• Build the playbook. Work closely with Solutions, Product and Delivery to qualify feasibility andcommitments. Turn customer feedback, wins and losses into better offers, repeatable workflows and actionable product priorities.

How about you

• A proven enterprise seller. You can demonstrate how you personally created enterprise opportunities, developed executive access and converted those opportunities into revenue. Your record includes complex six- and seven-figure agreements and consistent delivery against quota.
• Commercially sharp and fluent in the product. You learn the product deeply enough to explain how a proposed workflow would operate, identify integration dependencies and recognize where specialist validation is required.
• Comfortable in demanding environments. You have sold into financial institutions or similarly regulated enterprises and can navigate procurement, security reviews, executive scrutiny and competing stakeholder priorities.
• Prepared, persistent and thorough. Your preparation, discovery, proposals and close plans reflect a strong work ethic and craftsmanship. You understand the customer's business, follow through on commitments and address difficult issues early.
• Able to build through ambiguity. You can develop an opportunity before there is a finished playbook, learn quickly from setbacks and bring recommendations when decisions are needed.
• A strong colleague. You share information, give others credit and lead cross-functional deal teams without relying on reporting lines. You take responsibility for commercial progress and escalate constraints early.
• An effective user of AI. You use approved AI tools for research, preparation, outreach and deal execution. You verify the output and reinvest the time saved in customer understanding and relationships.

Experience selling enterprise AI, conversational or voice technology, customer experience platforms or
workflow automation is especially relevant. Experience taking a new offering from validation into
production is a strong advantage. Travel across North America is part of the role.
