In this remote, part-time role, you will shape and deliver people strategy for a growing US healthcare and technology team operating within a global, AI-driven environment. Working closely with the Chief People Officer and senior leadership, you will provide strategic HR guidance across the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding and development to performance, engagement, and employee relations. You will help build scalable people processes that support a distributed workforce and a rapidly evolving clinical delivery organization. Your expertise will be particularly valuable in supporting physicians and other licensed clinicians while navigating the complexities of multi-state employment. Beyond day-to-day HR operations, you will coach leaders, mentor People Experience colleagues, and strengthen a culture of trust, wellbeing, and accountability. Designed for an experienced HR generalist who values autonomy and meaningful impact, this opportunity offers the flexibility of a three-day working week.

  • Shape people strategy: Partner with the Chief People Officer to define and implement the people vision, strategic priorities, and initiatives supporting the US organization.

  • Manage the employee lifecycle: Deliver comprehensive HR support across onboarding, employee relations, performance management, professional development, compensation cycles, engagement, and offboarding.

  • Advise and develop leaders: Serve as a trusted advisor to US squad leads and managers, providing guidance on performance challenges, difficult conversations, team health, leadership effectiveness, and workforce capability.

  • Own people programmes and policies: Develop, maintain, and continuously improve HR processes, policies, benefits, and leave programmes to meet the needs of a remote, AI-native, squad-based organization.

  • Ensure employment compliance: Oversee people-related compliance across multiple US states, applying sound knowledge of employment requirements and escalating complex legal matters when appropriate.

  • Support clinical workforce operations: Collaborate with credentialing, licensing, privileging, and physician recruitment colleagues to ensure connected and effective people processes, without assuming responsibility for clinical decisions or credentialing determinations.

  • Coach and mentor colleagues: Build the capability and confidence of the People Experience team through practical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge sharing, without relying on direct management authority.

  • Use data to guide decisions: Analyze workforce data and people insights to identify trends, anticipate challenges, and recommend evidence-based improvements.

  • Strengthen culture and engagement: Champion organizational values and lead initiatives that promote employee wellbeing, belonging, engagement, and collaboration across a geographically distributed workforce.

  • Handle sensitive employee matters: Manage complex and confidential employee-relations issues with discretion, sound judgment, and appropriate escalation to the Chief People Officer and US legal counsel.

  • Prioritize effectively: Balance strategic initiatives with operational responsibilities, ensuring the highest-impact people priorities are addressed within a three-day working week.
